Bristol Pirates Basketball Club

Bristol Pirates Basketball Club are an established club based in Bristol UK (South West England.) We run three teams - Mens, Womens and Juniors (U18) - and compete in the local WEBBA leagues. We are always looking for new players, so if you are looking to play organised basketball for a friendly team then please come along to train or just drop in to say hello. See below for training times - but remember to check the fixtures for home/away matches before turning up.

Matches:

Pirates home games are normally played on Tuesdays at St. Bernadette School.
But from January, some home games will also be played at The Park on Sundays.
(Please check the fixtures for details.)

Training Times:

Pirates train Sundays at The Park and Tuesdays at St. Bernadette School.

Please check the fixtures before coming to training.
  • A team will probably NOT be training if they have a game on the same day.
  • Tuesdays training times vary because the court is shared for home games by all teams.

Training on Sundays at The Park:

    Juniors 11.30-1pm*
    Women 1pm - 2.30pm
    Men 2.30pm - 4pm

      *Sun Mar 29th Junior training is 12.30-2pm.

Training on Tuesdays at St. Bernadette School:

    Combined: 7pm - 10pm
    Men train from about 8pm, or 8.40pm if there is an earlier Junior or Womens game.
    Juniors train from about 6pm, or 8.40pm if there is an earlier Womens game.
    Women train from about 6pm, or 8.40pm if there is an earlier Juniors game.
